Smith & Wesson signs apparel license

Smith & Wesson signed an apparel license with Wild Things LLC.

The idea is to combine functionality for those carrying weapons with street wear and a rugged American heritage.

The line features classic twill and canvas fabrics, as well as modern highly technical materials to provide function and style.
Both, a men’s and a women’s line will be available. They are divided into four categories: shooting, range, tracking and hybrid.

In addition, Wild Things, LLC, under the Smith & Wesson trademark, is designing and manufacturing a complete tactical line of apparel designed for law enforcement.

Second License for Smartphone by Porsche Design

According to Zawya.com, Porsche Design and RIM will launch a new Porsche Design P’9981 Smartphone in the United Arab Emirates.

The customized Porsche Design P’9981 comes with an exclusive Porsche Design UI and a bespoke Wikitude World Browser augmented reality app experience.

The Porsche Design P’9981 smartphone from BlackBerry will be available at all Porsche Design stores in the United Arab Emirates, as well as authorized retailers.

For Porsche Design this is somewhat cannibalizing, since it already has a cellphone under license with Sagem.
