Reuters reports, Ferrari is expanding its brand to fashion and restaurants.
Last millennium already, Ferrari was an innovator and leader in brand management and brand licensing.
Around 2000 Ferrari had a global brand licensing program with successful licenses in 20+ categories. Among those were fashion, bags and luggage, accessories, shoes, and watches.
A big success was a computer games console:
The licensing organization was headquarter in Switzerland at the time and reported ~ SF890 Million in sales of licensed goods.
That alone made for a very successful brand and a sizable enterprise.
