Longchamps eyewear license

Longchamp, originally best known for its iconic handbags and luggage, has signed a brand licensing agreement for the development, production and distribution of Longchamp eyewear collections.

The licensee is Marchon, the territory is global, licensed product will be optical frames and sunglasses.

Distribution will be through Longchamp boutiques, specialty retail, multi-brand fashion channels, and travel retail locations.

Timberland license

As announced here, Timberland has signed a brand license for socks, soft accessories and cold weather accessories.

The licensee is Global Brands Group Holding Limited.

The license covers men’s and women’s socks, baseball caps, felt and straw caps, leather gloves, printed lightweight and woven scarves, and cold weather accessories.

Launch will be Spring 2018.

BSA brand licenses

The classic British motorcycle brand BSA has announced licensees for leather goods, apparel, scale models, and more.

7 Vision is the licensee for leather goods and an apparel collection in the U.K.

WSI Models will create a line of BSA M21 scale models, available in BENELUX.

Vision Eleven has signed on for an apparel range of adult knit and woven tops, jersey and fleece, cold- and warm-weather headwear, socks, underwear, and light outwear for the U.S. and Canada.

Kenneth Cole licenses core business

Kenneth Cole announced to license the core business of its brands in the USA to Global Brands Group.

The license covers menswear, womenswear, and kids wear as well as handbags. It is for the labels Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction, and Unlisted, A Kenneth Cole Production.

The kids wear license has been with Kids Headquarters.
