World Triathlon Corporation, the company behind Ironman events, will be sold for US$650 Million according to a report.
Buyer is the Chinese investor Dalian Wanda.
World Triathlon organizes around 250 sport events every year globally. The company also owns the brand Ironman.
Earlier Dalian Wanda bought the sport marketing company Infront Sports & Media for €1.05 Billion, and it holds 20 percent of the Spanish soccer club Atletico Madrid.
