[:en]Fifth & Pacific, formerly Liz Claiborne, sold the intellectual property rights of Juicy Couture to Authentic Brands Group. The purchase price is $195 million.
Through the first half of 2014 Fifth & Pacific will act as licensee.
Juicy Couture went from a small startup, mostly known for flashy track suits worn by Pamela Anderson and alike, through explosive growth with mono brand stores and brand licenses for fragrances, eyewear and watches. But when its track suits went out of fashion so did the brand.[:]
