We said it earlier, the eyewear market is crowded with licensed brands. Our own database alone shows over 70 brand licenses. And if that is not enough, just check the increasing number of changing partnerships. That is a clear sign of brand or licensee under performance.
Now Maybach has signed a brand license for eyewear. Maybach is the struggling super premium brand of Daimler. Its future existence has been discussed over and over, since Maybach never reached projections, much less profitability.
