P&G sells pet food business

[:en]After selling Eukebana to Mars, Procter & Gamble now sold its other European pet food business. The buyer is Spectrum Brands Holdings.

Annual turnover in Europe was reported to be around €156 Million.

Spectrum Brands already owns pet food brand Tetra, besides battery business Varta, and electric products under the brands Remington and a Black & Decker license.[:]
